This stunning 9th-century illuminated manuscript was created by monks and is considered one of the world’s greatest cultural treasures!

2. Dublinia | Christ Church, 5 Meath Street.

In honour of our Norse roots, we think it’s fitting to recommend Dublinia as a must-visit when in Dublin. This museum is less than a 9-minute walk from Temple Bar and describes itself as “the heart of Viking and Medieval Dublin”. Relive Dublin’s past through interactive exhibits: walk in the footsteps of Vikings, experience what life was like in the Medieval Age and climb the tower for a panoramic view of the city. Whether you’re a history buff or looking for something unique to do in Dublin, this needs to be on your list.
